The Google Play Store is one of those apps we take for granted, mostly because it simply works as a mediator between the user and his precious apps! There's no definite manual for fixing the Google Play Store. But I've put together a set of tips and tricks that'll most likely get your precious app store running again! So without wasting the time let's get started...

Methods:

  1. Force close the Google Play Store. Go to SETTINGS>APPLICATIONS>click on Google Play Store and Force Close it.
  2. Go on Airplane Mode. Just turn the Airplane Mode on and after 10 seconds turn it off. Really easy! Isn't it?
  3. Toggle WiFi or Cellular Data connection. If you're using WiFi then turn it off and just like the Airplane mode turn it back on. If using Mobile Data do the same.
  4. Just Restart your device! Sometimes a simple Reboot can fix your problems :)

  6. Enable any previously Disabled app. Go to SETTINGS>APPLICATIONS>click on Disable Apps tab and enable all the disabled apps. Do a quick Reboot and see if its working or not.
  7. Check your Date/Time settings! If the Date and Time is set incorrectly then your Play Store will not work and will give you a Connection error and retrying will be a waste of your time. So set your Date/Time settings as Automatic and if you can't then set them manually.

  8. Disconnect any VPN/Proxy connection! Sometimes you can't access the Play Store with VPN or Proxy connection.
  9. Just Uninstall it! If Play Store is your system app then you can't completely uninstall it. So just go to SYSTEM>APPLICATIONS>choose Play Store from list and click on Uninstall Update.
  10. Remove and Re-enter Google account. Go to SETTINGS>ACCOUNT>click the 3 Dots menu and choose Remove Account. After removing add your account again and try to access Play Store.
